Released on my birthday while I was on the other side of the country in my home away from home. Miami is like no other place in the world -- I’m fully convinced. It’s a beautiful place for sure and there is always the allure of the Miami we see on TV and in movies.. but I love Miami for *all* that it is, not just its shiniest corners. I love the parallels between Miami and the Bay, even if they aren’t always hella apparent at first glance. I love that we’ve created our own cultures just outside of the shadows of these looming other cities where media, money, and attention is concentrated.
Most importantly though, I love Miami because I love my people there. Aldhair (Up2Something Studios) is one of my best friends in life -- I learn from the man every day. Eternally grateful our paths have crossed.
